Loads has happened since my last Dev Blog post

* The name of the site was changed from NerveArt to Ravora. I've always been a fan of 'name names' and never liked 'word names', as they are much easier to market and remember.

* The Competitions system is up and running. The first competition is to make Ravora a shiny new web interface / design / layout.

There will be a new competition every week. Maybe even a few at the start to get the ball rolling.
In the next few days i plan to add some feeds, making it easier to track new competitions and new art.

* Ravora reached 900 hits in 24 hours. Rubbish compared to any other site, but still a Ravora record

* I've just added the Comments page, making it easier to find new comments. This will soon be integrated into a messaging system, so that you can see new replies to your art and forum topics.

Today i added a journal system for blogging and general member news.

Day 14 of January

The new mild blue style sheet is up. It's much better than the old gray/brown..

The comic system is also up. At the moment you can: Start a Comic and Add a Strip. Lots more feature for that soon.

The preferences page has been changed to a large controls page.

- You can now watch your favourite artists for new submissions. When they submit new art, it will appear in your Artwatch page.

New Features Before 2006

Merry Christmas!

Some of the recent features added to NA are:

- Preferences (for logged in members), where you can pick avatar and signature images.

- Scraps, as you might not want your 50x50 avatar on the front page (or maybe you do).

- One Page Gallery, a single page that shows fullviews of your latest artworks. Great for submitting to StumbleUpon or other social tagging sites.

Over the next 2 months there will be any more features
